A trackside railway inspection 3D scanner with 50 blue laser lines at 7.5M points/sec, engineered for wheel profile measurement, flange height and qR wear trending, and rail head profile documentation.

Key Features

  • Wheel profile measurement at trackside: scan wheel tread and flange, extract flange height, flange thickness, qR value, and tread hollowing per EN 15313 in under 30 seconds per wheel
  • Wheel wear trending database: store all wheel scans by axle number, plot wear progression curves, predict wheel truing or replacement dates based on measured wear rates
  • Rail head profile scanning: capture transverse rail profile at defined intervals, measure head radius, gauge corner wear, and corrugation wavelength
  • Wheel-rail contact geometry analysis: pair scanned wheel and rail profiles to compute equivalent conicity, contact angle, and rolling radius difference per EN 15302
