A press-fit assembly inspection scanner with 50 blue laser lines and 0.022mm accuracy, engineered for interference fit bearing bore inspection, retaining ring groove verification, and press-fit insertion force prediction.

  • Pre and post press-fit bore comparison: scan housing bore before and after bearing installation, compute insertion distortion, validate final bore tolerance
  • Interference fit force prediction: calculate predicted insertion force from measured bore and shaft dimensions using Lamé equations
  • Retaining ring groove width, depth, and bottom radius measurement — verify groove geometry ensures proper retaining ring seating and retention under axial load
  • Bearing housing ovality measurement with automated identification of lobing patterns indicating clamping distortion or thermal gradients
